Seller Code of Conduct

1. Honesty and Transparency

Sellers must provide clear and accurate information about their products.
This includes truthful descriptions, accurate photos, correct materials, and realistic processing and shipping times.

2. Quality Standards

All items must meet the following standards:

  • Handmade, designed, or carefully crafted
  • Safe for use
  • Free from defects
  • Packaged securely for transport

Dropshipping is not permitted unless specifically approved by Meraki Hub.

3. Professional Communication

Sellers are expected to communicate in a professional manner.
This includes:

  • Responding to messages within 48 hours
  • Being respectful and helpful
  • Providing updates when delays occur
  • Addressing issues calmly and constructively

Harassment or unprofessional behavior is not tolerated.

4. Shipping Responsibilities

Sellers must:

  • Ship orders within their stated processing time
  • Provide tracking information when available
  • Use reliable carriers
  • Package items safely
  • Mark orders as shipped only after they have been sent

5. Handling Returns and Issues

Sellers must:

  • Follow the return, exchange, and refund policies they have selected
  • Resolve problems in good faith
  • Accept returns for damaged or incorrect items
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns

Ignoring buyer messages is not acceptable.

6. Prohibited Behavior

The following actions are not allowed:

  • Selling counterfeit or trademark-infringing items
  • Listing prohibited products
  • Posting misleading or false information
  • Abusive or offensive communication
  • Fake reviews
  • Transaction fraud or fee avoidance
  • Directing buyers to purchase outside the Meraki Hub platform

7. Compliance with Laws

Sellers are responsible for following all applicable laws, including:

  • Consumer protection laws
  • Business, tax, and import/export regulations
  • EU consumer law requirements when selling to EU buyers
  • Safety and labeling standards for regulated items (cosmetics, candles, children’s products, food items, etc.)
  • Copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws

8. Account Suspension

Meraki Hub may suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

  • Repeated policy violations
  • Unsafe or prohibited products
  • Fraud or dishonest activity
  • Multiple unresolved customer complaints
