Hello, I'm Hoopoe Wood Creations.
We are Stella and Konstantinos. A pair in life but also a pair in woodworking! We live in Mani and take inspiration from our marvellous surroundings to create things out of wood. We love making things on our lathe, from really small cups or spinning tops to bigger salad bowls or vases (and everything in between), but sometimes we create wooden things with other tools as well. Because wood is a living thing and each piece of wood is something different, everything we make is unique. Είμαστε η Στέλλα και ο Κωνσταντίνος. Ζευγάρι στη ζωή αλλά και στις δημιουργίες! Μένουμε στη Μάνη και παίρνουμε έμπνευση από την υπέροχη φύση γύρω μας για να φτιάξουμε πράγματα από ξύλο. Λατρεύουμε τον τόρνο μας και το να φτιάχνουμε πράγματα εκεί, από μινιατούρες και σβούρες μέχρι σαλατιέρες και βάζα, αλλά κάποιες φορές φτιάχνουμε ξύλινα πράγματα και με άλλες μεθόδους. Επειδή το ξύλο είναι ζωντανό και το κάθε κομμάτι του μοναδικό, κάθε δημιουργία μας είναι επίσης μοναδική.
